Built-in timers automatically detect when a step needs timing and set it up for you. RecipeBoss sets either a single time or a range (like 30 to 40 minutes), alerting you at the minimum time and again at the maximum so you know when to start checking and when it's done.
The timer uses your phone's Live Activity feature, so you can see it right on your lock screen. You don't have to keep RecipeBoss open or worry about your phone going to sleep. The timer stays visible and you'll get alerts even when your phone is locked.
